It would be interesting to know how the City of BE came out with the money they loaned to Express Diagnostics (while under the helm of Paul Johnson and Gary Jueneman) prior to the buyout by a Chinese company. As part of the terms of the loan, EDI promised to increase their staffing capacity by 50% in addition to other terms. I think the people of BE and Faribault County should know if the load was repaid when the company was purchased.
Do you keep your sources anonymous, and do you protect their anonymity? Also, would you entertain taking on another journalist, or at least look at something you may want to publish? I’m an author and local resident and fancy myself a bit of a writer. I’m also very interested in local politics and current events. I like stories that expose corruption and highlight local heroes. Regardless, you do good work and I appreciate what you do. Thanks

Any info on why the state is shutting down the Senior Center kitchen in Blue Earth that feeds the seniors?
