Winnebago police are seeking the public’s help to find who is responsible for breaking into vehicles in the city.
According to a posting on the city’s social media website, multiple vehicles were broken into during the overnight hours of Thursday and early Friday morning.
“The Winnebago Police Department is looking for any information or video footage you may have,” says the posting.
Authorities did not say how many vehicles were broken into or what part of the city the break-ins occurred.
Police Chief Nathan Goette has not responded to a request for comment.
Residents are being asked to keep their vehicles locked at all times.
