Man arrested at UHD in Blue Earth

Local News

Faribault County authorities arrested a 38-year-old Blue Earth man at United Hospital District (UHD) last Wednesday in Blue Earth.

He was booked and then released the next morning pending further investigation by the Sheriff’s Office and the (Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) BCA,” says Chief Deputy Scott Adams.

Before being taken into custody on Oct. 2, says Adams, authorities interviewed James Wenkheimer at the UHD campus located at 515 S. Moore St.

Possible charges Wenkheimer could face, says Adams, are possessing pornographic work and disseminating pornographic work. Both charges are considered to be a felony.

Adams says he does not know if Wenkheimer actually works at the hospital or clinic.

A press release dated May 11, 2023, names 32 employees to be honored at a luncheon and lists Wenkheimer as having five years of service with the ambulance.

UHD chief executive officer (CEO) Rick Ash was unavailable to comment on whether Wenkheimer is a UHD employee.
