Martin County authorities are asking the public to help find a man involved in a domestic shooting in Truman.
According to a press release, the Sheriff’s Department responded to a report around 6:14 p.m. Thursday that an adult female had been shot in the chest with a pistol.
The woman was transported to a Fairmont medical facility for treatment, according to the press release, and no details of her injury and condition were given.
Authorities say the suspect is 32-year-old Kyle Jonathan Liford and he is possibly driving a green Chevrolet Tahoe with a Minnesota license plate number of NVU 782.
Officers reportedly found and secured a firearm at the scene of the incident.
Authorities believe this appears to be an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
Assisting county authorities were the Fairmont Police Department, Minnesota River Valley Drug Task Force, Truman Ambulance and Mayo Ambulance.
